Quick question about my guide gun. After a couple of shots the lock screw will back off letting the sight turn if touched. I can't be the only one. What are people doing to keep the sight secure?

That really isn't a normal problem. There should be a lead shot underneath the set screw to cushion the threads from the tip of the screw. With that compressed firmly into the threads it shouldn't move unless you're really reefing on it.

Don’t use any kind of thread locking compound. Check to see if the lead shot in the bottom of the screw hole is missing if so drop one in. That is plenty to hold the screw tight through any recoil you should come into contact with

I have a skinner sight no problem even with the screw loose it hard to turn. Skinner sights I think is the best I have found let me know if they take care of you I bet they do
