Would rather say he was German (?)... He was born in the town of Czarnków in 1868, which then was (and had belonged to for almost a hundred years) Prussian 🤔

Betty Boop was also real...she was modeled after a dancing comedian in the 1910s-1920s who was known as Baby Esther. But she never got any royalties from the artist who stole her likeness and resented it for her entire life.
