How Police Leaders Can End De-policing
Following the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO in 2014, police officers in many places in America began to pull back from proactive policing due to fear that they might face criminal charges, civil lawsuits, or simply a trial by social media. This withdrawal from actively looking for criminal activity and stopping it from happening has arguably led to an increase in criminal activity in some places. POLICE Contributing Web Editor Doug Wyllie sits down with Sergeant Steve Fish of the Racine (WI) Police Department to discuss how police leaders can enable their officers to get back to effective crime fighting.

It's worth noting that two leading Democratic contenders for nomination for President, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, have publically endorsed the 'poor innocent Michael Brown' lie, despite almost certainly knowing that it's a complete falsehood.
Why did they do this?
Surely, it was to appeal to a large section of the Democratic Party base, who hate the police and actively want to see officers facing "criminal charges, civil lawsuits, or simply a trial by social media".
These people may or may not win the elections next year. But they will win the ones after that -- the demographics are irrefutable. And this will have consequences -- very bad ones -- for police and the decent people they protect.
Get ready for a permanently Blue America, with all that entails.
