Gebouwd voor de 21e eeuw. New Land Rover Defender: onstuitbaar en uniek, een klasse apart.
Like most, I've been eagerly awaiting the All-New Defender for a long time. For the past 2 years I've been gathering footage/evidence in support of Land Rovers decision for this day, the 10th July 2019. I adore the traditional Series & Defender Land Rovers but I always knew an All-New Defender was going to be a hard pill to swallow for some fans and traditionalists. The All-New Defender appears in this film but is not heavily featured. The follow up, and shorter video, was shot at Land Rovers skunk-works in Gaydon back in July - it will feature the new Defender in abundance. This film honours Land Rover past, present and future.

An outstanding film with some memorable moments. I had feared 2+ hours might be a bit long but in the event I was captivated for its entire duration. You've done an excellent job in explaining how JLR arrived at the new Defender (which, even though I'm a 200Tdi '90 owner, I really like). Truly your Magnum Opus

Without doubt the best YouTube doc I’ve watched and the best Land Rover programme. Really made me see sense with the new Defender. I actually feel quite guilty now I thought bad of Land Rover for changing the Defender!

What an incredible production. A superb piece of work. Professional film making. Great content, heartfelt comment. You're wrong about the D5, obviously we both know we will never agree on that subject, but I really enjoyed the film. As for the new offering, why didn't they just call it the Series V and avoid all the Defender comparison bollocks? It's not as is Defender an old name anyway, Discovery is older. I've yet to see one in the flesh, but I will soon at the Les Comes Discovery Birthday Party. So far, I am not disappointed. I was deeply disappointed at the 2017 Paris show when I went to see the D5 launch, that was a heart shattering day. Maybe that's how the die hard Defender lovers feel about the new one, dead leg, wet elbow and ripped jeans and all.

A bitter sweet look at progress and a great film....we buy them because we've grown up with them....this "new" Defender will appeal to new markets. I started with Series 3's in my apprenticeship and now drive a Defender 90 Pick Up...everyone gets out of my way because they don't want to get "hurt" - the new Defender will take an 'age' to be iconic...

I'm just done watching the film, and I now realized I've forgotten to put it into full screen mode. I'm amazed by the great craftmanship put into this film! 👍 You captured my attention straigth from the start and kept my attention throughout the complete duration. I love the details put in like the bird sounds and aerial drone winds, it really sets the mood. The content it self is amazing but the work behind it was what blew my mind. Thanks for making this and I look forward to the next part. Yours, Simon - Mr. Land Rover Drive

I really like the New Defender, don’t get me wrong... But my heart is still with the old one, the Land Rover that brought us all the memories and adventures we’ve had! Evolution is something that must happen, and I'm very happy that it has happend in the hands of Land Rover. And not some imitation brand. In a few years fellow 4x4's like Jeep, G-Class and Toyota must follow. Then, we'll see how far ahead Land Rover was when the New Defender was launched. Thanks for this eye opening feature on the Defender, its brilliant! Regards, Panda the Landy
