Pretty irritated by this gun to be honest. I know they’ll take care of it, but still..for this price point it’s disappointing. I was made aware the guide rod comes loose after the first few hundred rounds, first time out (300ish rds) it was in fact loose. Applied the strongest locktite I could find (red, requires heat to break loose) and took it back out. 300 rounds later, I’ve been carrying it all week. Prepping for a pistol class today I went to clean it, and the guide rod is just gone. Good thing I noticed, and didn’t need it, as it’s my edc. Has Sig fixed this problem yet? I had the same problem with mine. Fixed it with a little bit of teflon tape around the guide rod threads and just put it back together with a little help from a set of pliers. Never came apart after that.

SIG really needs to invest in using more thread adhesive during manufacture. I love my P220 Legion, but the screws on the grips came loose. I fixed it with a bit of loctite, but why any reputable manufacturer wouldn't put adhesive on a screw four threads long on a part subject to shock/vibration is beyond me.

I have an original P220 and would not trade it for 50 of the new Legions. Seems like Sig has given up on quality control. This is what happens when a company goes for mass production and the dollar sign.
