No, he attended a military preparatory school, which is where rich people send their kids when they behave badly because they either lack the knowledge of how to correct bad behavior, or lack the will to carry out corrective discipline.
In the past, military prep schools were supposed to provide a disciplined, military-like environment for kids to get a private education that would prepare them for a possible future as military officers, or to combine the advantages of a focused, military environment with highly-paid excellent teachers so that students would have a better chance of getting into elite universities. Basically, combine the good teachers part of private schools with removing the distraction of the outside world while teaching students about work ethic in a military fashion.
By all accounts, Trump was initially a poor cadet, but eventually became a very good cadet because of his competitive personality. However, he was never very close to, or well-regarded by his fellow cadets. I also find it telling that I have yet to see him mention anyone from his military school as a mentor or friend.
A military prep school is nothing like Active service in the Armed Forces.
