The World Cup Final took place last month in China, where the best shooters from all over the world competed for the top titles. As always, ELEY shooters put on a fantastic performance to come away with 14 medals across both small-bore and air disciplines.
Here are some of the highlights:
Seonaid McIntosh (GBR) capped a memorable year with a gold medal victory in the 50m 3P rifle women’s. Second place went to Ruijiao Pei (CHN) and third place to Nina Christen (SUI) with all putting their trust in ELEY tenex.
In the men’s 50m 3P final Filip Nepejchal (CZE) struck gold and secured a new junior world record at the same time with a score of 462.9. Silver went to Milenko Sebic (SRB) and Sergey Kamenskiy (RUS) rounded out the podium in third.
In the 25m pistol women's final, Chinese shooter Zhang Jingjing trusted tenex to secure the gold medal – making her a three-time world champion!
For the air pistol events, Artem Chernousov and Zorana Arunovic came away with a bronze and silver medal respectively.
In a World Cup first, the air pistol and rifle mixed teams were determined by a random draw. In the rifle final, Snjezana Pejcic clinched the gold with partner Divyansh Panwar. Seonaid McIntosh won her second medal of the event, securing bronze while paired with Yu Haoanan.
In the air pistol event, Artem Chernousov took the top spot with partner Manu Bhaker. This was closely followed by Anna Korakaki and Saurabh Chaudhary. In third place, Zorana Arunovic bagged bronze with Shahzar Rizvi
At the end of 2019, 6 out of 8 world number one athletes use ELEY!
