Some of the Early Viet Nam sniper rifles were privately owned bolt action rifles. The rifle used you then MSgt. Frank Conway was a .375 H&H. Frank still had the rifle the last time I saw him in the early 1980's. He had over 200 kills, and Retired as a Lt. Col. I don't recall the make and manufacture of the scope, but it did not have a built in computer.
