Amend2 S300 Hybrid Grip Allows Your P320 To Take P365 Mags!
SHOT Show 2020 by Nicholas C
While at SHOT Show, it is hard to get eyes on everything and you can miss stuff but thanks to my friend Paul for letting me know this existed. I swung by the Amend2 booth just to check out their new S300 Hybrid grip module.
This feels like a no brainer and something SIG Sauer should have made by now. The S300 Hybrid grip allows you to use your P320 fire control unit, slide assembly and feed it with P365 magazines. This provides the P320 with even more options for concealed carry. No need to buy a P365 unless you really want one.
As you can see in the photos above there are a few slight changes between the S300 hybrid and a normal P365 grip module. The top half is wider to fit the P320 FCU but there is a picatinny accessory rail along the bottom instead of the proprietary parallel slots running along the side of a P365 frame.
The S300 Hybrid grip module is still in pre-production phase. They are exploring different texture designs but once it is released they are expecting it to cost around $49.
Amend2 is also coming out with a 34 rd glock magazine.
It is all polymer and does not have issues twisting out of PCC mag wells like some other lock stick mags out on the market. Expect these to run $21 when they are released.
Next up from Amend2 is a polymer 6.5 Grendel magazine. This magazine is still pending testing. According to Colby, their magazines must be able to feed 2,000 rounds without fail. Then survive drop tests.
They are using a 20rd magazine but due the nature of 6.5 Grendel cartridges they had to change the internals of their mags. It is a single stack of 10 rounds for improved reliability.
